"Always Forward, Never Back"
Saint Junipero Serra
While here on Earth, Saint Junipero Serra baptized over 6,000 people and confirmed 5,000. His travels would have circled the globe. He brought the Native Americans not only the gift of faith but also a decent standard of living. He won their love, as witnessed especially by their grief at his death and the notarized testimonies that became a part of his sainthood cause.
To honor his memory, in 1935 The Serra Club was founded. Saint Serra’s life demonstrates how one vocation can have a significant impact. Inspired by his model, members of the Saint Serra Apostolate of Boulder County invite you to join them in their mission to foster and affirm vocations to the priesthood and the vowed religious life.
